libbison-dev software package provides YACC-compatible parser generator - development library, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbison-dev
libbison-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbison-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbison-dev *
You will get with libbison-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
